Long ago, in a log cabin, far, far away, my cousin and I were playing Risk. We were locked in a bitter struggle, each one determined to dominate the world. Little did we know that there would soon be no world left to dominate. For behind a corner lurked my sister, wielding the most terrible of all apocalyptic weapons... a hamster.
My sister unleashed the hamster on our game board. Pieces flew everywhere, and all the hamster left in its wake were a few nuggets of poop. We never got to finish our game, but the idea of giant hamsters destroying the world has stuck with me ever since. And now today, the idea has finally come to fruition. Behold: A Fool's Quest, my fifth piece of flash fiction published through Havok. No spoilers but... there are hamsters. And a magical donut. Read it by clicking here, or go to gohavok.com.
